Industrial Electrician / Technician - Blenheim
We have an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Electrician or Electrical Technician based in Blenheim.
These are permanent positions on offer with the expectation of long-term commitment. Applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence. On offer is a competitive remuneration package that is negotiable dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform a variety of electrical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of our customers electrical systems and equipment, repair wiring and electrical equipment as needed.

Plan, install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems including conduit and duct systems, light and power circuits, motor appliances, generators and switches.

Carry out and document risk assessments prior to work.

Complete Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC) and Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC) where required.

Build and maintain relationships with clients and promote New Zealand Electrical Solutions.

Carry out work to the highest standard and to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Provide support and training to New Zealand Electrical Solutions Apprentices.

Carry out other related duties as requested.
About You
Additional Requirements - Technician
-
Strong fault-finding ability on different OEM equipment
-
PLC/ Automation interrogation experience
-
Advanced Motor control experience – VSD / SS
-
Instrumentation Experience

Minimum requirements – Electrician

Electrical Registration.

Current Practicing Licence.

Full NZ driver’s licence.

Mechanical aptitude.
-
Proven ability to work to deadlines.

Strong organisation skills with a focus on meeting objectives.

Excellent communication skills and a desire to work as part of a team.

A positive attitude with a commitment to training and personal development.

A willingness to work overtime where required.
