Foreman Industrial Electrician - Christchurch
We have an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Foreman Electrician based in Christchurch.

This is a hands on role that involves supervising a small team on electrical installs primarily in the food and beverage sector, ensuring compliance with safety standards and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a small team of Electricians and Apprentices on projects.

Coordinate with project managers, and other trades to ensure timely project progression.

Perform a variety of electrical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of our customers electrical systems and equipment, repair wiring and electrical equipment as needed.

Plan, install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical systems including conduit and duct systems, light and power circuits, motor appliances, generators and switches.

Carry out and document risk assessments prior to work.

Complete Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC) and Electrical Safety Certificate (ESC) where required.

Build and maintain relationships with clients and promote New Zealand Electrical Solutions.

Carry out work to the highest standard and to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Provide support and training to New Zealand Electrical Solutions Apprentices.
About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and proven leadership skills. Some flexibility is required to be able to work on short projects ( for 2-3 weeks) in Ashburton and Timaru to complete dairy winter shut work.

A sound industrial installation and or servicing background

A willingness to work overtime where required
